Make an Appointment

Students with an assigned AMES advisor

Do you have a declared major in Pre-Business, Pre-Nursing, or Exploratory? Then you already have an assigned advisor in Advising and Major Exploration Services! To schedule an appointment:

  1. Go to the Student Appointment Scheduler.
  2. Click the name of your advisor.
  3. Click “Schedule Appointment” to access your advisor’s calendar. A circle on a date means there are available appointments that day. Click the circled date to see open times.
  4. Once you’ve found a time that works with your schedule, click “Request Appointment.”
  5. Fill in your current phone number and a reason for scheduling. Click “Submit Request.”
  6. Done! You will receive a confirmation email with your appointment details. Cancel or reschedule appointments by returning to the Student Appointment Scheduler.

If your advisor does not have any available appointments, click "Schedule with someone else" and search "AMES" to meet with another AMES advisor.

Students with a school or major advisor

Are you considering changing your major? Or do you have a unusual situation that Advising and Major Exploration Services can assist you with? To schedule an appointment:

  1. Go to the Student Appointment Scheduler.
  2. Click "Schedule with someone else."
  3. Search for "AMES" and either click on individual advisor's names or click the checkboxes to view multiple advisors' calendars.
  4. Click “Schedule Appointment” to access an advisor’s calendar. A circle on a date means there are available appointments that day. Click the circled date to see open times.
  5. Once you’ve found a time that works with your schedule, click “Request Appointment.”
  6. Fill in your current phone number and a reason for scheduling. Click “Submit Request.”
  7. Done! You will receive a confirmation email with your appointment details. Cancel or reschedule appointments by returning to the Student Appointment Scheduler.
